HOW TO GO:

  1. Self-Drive

At about 148 km, the drive to Warangal is both beautiful and comfortable and you could easily drive there yourself. However, if you’re not very confident behind the wheel, use other means since it is a small, curvy, two-lane highway

  1. Taxi

Sit back and enjoy the lovely sights that fly by past you. Average time taken: 3.5 hrs. A basic cab would cost your around Rs.1500.

  1. Bus

The APSRTC has quite a few busses between Hyderabad and Warangal. The schedules however are currently being altered.

  1. Train

There are seven trains which travel between Hyderabad and Warangal, all seven days of the week and the journey time is a mere one and half hours.

Fare – Sleeper: Rs.140; 3AC: Rs.485; 2AC: Rs.690; 1AC: Rs.1465 (charges vary slightly depending on train)
